At She Rises, we believe every woman is constantly becoming, through every season of life, every challenge, and every choice she makes.

For this gathering, we invited each woman to bring a photograph of herself from ten years ago.

Why ten years?

Because ten years can change a woman.

For many of us, that chapter of life was marked by becoming a wife, a mother, or stepping into new responsibilities. Our priorities shifted as we poured our time and energy into caring for others. Somewhere along the way, many of us quietly put ourselves aside.

Looking back at those photographs became more than a nostalgic moment. It was an opportunity to honour the woman we once were, recognise the journey we’ve taken, and celebrate the woman we are becoming.

As stories were shared around the table, we reflected on the lessons, challenges, and growth that shaped us. We laughed, we became emotional, and we discovered that while every journey is different, the desire to grow is something we all share.

Today, many of us are learning to choose ourselves again, to reconnect with our passions, pursue dreams we’ve postponed, and intentionally create a life that reflects who we truly are.

To the Woman I’m Becoming was more than a wine lunch. It was a space for reflection, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection. It was a reminder that growth is not about becoming someone else. It is about becoming more of who we are meant to be.

That question stayed with us long after the afternoon ended. It reminded us that every chapter of life is shaping the woman we’re becoming.

Every season shapes us. Every experience strengthens us. Every woman is still becoming.
